Held a 70+ RPM in the first round, which I was stoked about. The other three rounds were between 50 and 65. I think that machine is more psychologically taxing when you THINK you’re working hard, but the calories take so long to flip over.

Today Jon ran the @murphchallenge for the first time with 20# body armor. I told him it how much it would suck the first time with the vest but we also talked about pushing past the pain and fatigue. I told him about the governor in our brain and how it holds us back- like when a car’s odometer says its can go 130mph but when you floor the gas it only reaches 90. I explained that we need to break that governor and once the mind knows we are not going to quit the body will adapt to whatever is in front of it. He absolutely killed it today. So proud of Jon! Blessed to have witnessed it first hand

Today's WOD was a joint effort but that didn't mean it was easy🌶🌶 Safe to say myself and @functionalnutrition1 were beat by the end!

I have not found the love for the assault bike yet, for many reasons...but mainly because I struggle to last more than 15 seconds without dying in a heap on the floor, so hitting 75 calories as fast as possible was slightly scary. But suck it up buttercup, you just gotta get it done. .
