LMGram Privacy Policy

LMGram is an opt-in human matching and chat service. Users describe an intent, and LMGram helps them discover, request, and coordinate with other people whose intents are similar, complementary, or contextually relevant.

Data We Collect

• Account and identity data: name, username, email address, profile photo, authentication provider identifiers, login method, language and theme preferences, account settings, and account status.
• Intent and matching data: search text, intent summaries, topics, needs, offers, language, urgency, sensitivity, location preference, approximate location when "near me" is enabled, matching scores, explanations, match requests, accepted or ignored matches, and intent-room membership.
• Chat and room data: chat identifiers, participants, membership state, timestamps, message bodies, edited or deleted message state, reactions, media metadata, photos, videos, voice messages, audio duration, signal invitations, and notification state.
• Connected tool data: OAuth authorization codes, access tokens or token hashes, scopes, connected client names, revocation state, and tool inputs and outputs when you authorize an AI client such as ChatGPT or another MCP-compatible assistant.
• Safety and support data: blocks, reports, report categories, optional report explanations, support requests, account deletion requests, and moderation review notes.
• Technical data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, user agent, push notification tokens, diagnostics, server logs, error logs, and performance measurements.

How LMGram Tools Use Data

If you connect LMGram to ChatGPT or another AI client, that client can call LMGram tools only after you authorize access. Tool calls may return your connected LMGram profile, create a minimized match request, list your match requests, start a chat, list messages from a chat you belong to, or send a message that you explicitly request. LMGram tools are designed to use minimized intent summaries instead of raw AI chat transcripts, secrets, private documents, or unnecessary personal context.

How We Use Data

• To create and authenticate accounts, maintain sessions, and secure OAuth integrations.
• To understand user intent, calculate matches, create match requests, create intent rooms, and notify relevant users.
• To provide chat, media, voice message, signal, blocking, reporting, and account deletion features.
• To debug, measure, and improve matching quality, latency, reliability, safety, and abuse prevention.
• To provide aggregated partner or venue insights where enabled. These reports are aggregate or thresholded and are not intended to expose private chats or identify individual users.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Sharing and Recipients

LMGram does not sell personal data and does not use your data for third-party advertising. We may share limited data with:

• Other LMGram users who receive your match request, join the same intent room, or participate in the same chat.
• AI clients and connectors you authorize, including ChatGPT, when they request LMGram tool outputs on your behalf.
• Infrastructure, hosting, analytics, push notification, authentication, storage, and AI processing providers that help operate LMGram.
• App stores, identity providers, and payment or platform providers where required to operate login, distribution, security, or support flows.
• Law enforcement, regulators, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect users, LMGram, or the public.

Retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Intents, match requests, chats, rooms, messages, media, OAuth grants, device tokens, logs, reports, and safety records are retained as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, or honor user controls. Some intents and match artifacts may expire automatically. Reports and abuse-prevention records may be retained after account deletion when necessary for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

User Controls

You can update your account settings, change your language or theme, revoke connected tools, mute notifications, block or unblock users, report users or conversations, delete or clear conversations where supported, and initiate permanent account deletion from Settings in the app. You can also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, export, or support.

Security

LMGram uses access controls, OAuth scopes, encrypted transport, and operational safeguards to protect data. Some chat content may be end-to-end encrypted depending on the app surface and feature. No system is perfect, so we continue to improve security and limit collection to what is needed for the service.

Children

LMGram is not intended for children under 13 or for users below the age required by local law to use online services without parental consent.
