  • POWER CONFIDENCE - Sink into the negative, feel the negative, but the art is knowing when to get out...⠀ ⚡️⠀ Negativity and negative thought patterns are kind of like a warm bath...super easy to sink into but it's kind of tough to tell how long you have before you get pruney and cold (yes, I totally just made that up 😂).⠀ ⚡️⠀ It's normal to feel mad or upset or frustrated or sad about situations or things that happen in your life. It's important to acknowledge those feelings. Being confident or having a positive mindset or a growth mentality doesn't mean that you can't feel those emotions, but what it does mean is that you feel 'em, you sink into 'em, you let it all out and then you get the fuck out. Quickly. Vamanos. Get. The. Fuck. Out. Of. That. Place. 🛫⠀ ⚡️⠀ The trouble is that most people sink into the negative. They get warm and cozy and comfortable in there and then they stay there. They especially stay there if the people around them are also cold and pruney because they have stayed in the negativity bath for too long. The trick, and the way you must train your mind is to let it all out. I mean just let all that shit out. Feel every little bit of that emotion and that experience. Talk it out, write it out, work it out, cry it out, but get it all out..⠀ ✨⠀ For me, I yell in my head. I say all the things that I am feeling and I just rant and rave, sometimes my arms are going and my head is moving. But I get it all out. And when I have it all out. I stop. Take a breath. Pull out a positive. Then another positive. Then an actionable. And I move the fuck on. MOVE THE FUCK ON. Just like that.   • Sometimes you nail a new recipe development and feel like you deserve a handshake from Paul Hollywood 🎖 (Great British Baking Show) and then sometimes you make a GF chocolate muffin recipe that turns into a muffin crater and should probably qualify you for a “Pinterest Fails meme” 🤦‍♀️😭. Luckily for you, I have a tried and true double chocolate banana bread recipe in my back pocket instead. Better luck next time my muffins. 🤷‍♀️ . . Details:👇 . . 1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup. Or a combo to equal 1/2 cup) 2 eggs 1/3 cup melted coconut oil 3 mashed ripe bananas 1 tsp vanilla extract 3/4 cup whole wheat flour (or regular) 3/4 cup oat flour (you can make your own in a food processor by blending oats) (I have also tried this recipe without oat flour and just using double regular flour and that works as well) 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (plus more for on top if desired) 1. Heat oven to 350 and coat the bottom of a bread pan with oil (or use parchment paper) 2. Combine eggs, honey, and oil until well incorporated. Slowly add in mashed banana and vanilla (I did this all by hand but you could use a mixer) 3. In a separate bowl combine flours, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture until just combined. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 4. Spoon batter into pan and sprinkle on more chocolate chips (if desired). Bake for 60-70 min (until toothpick comes out clean).
