  • . . ♥️7am Crew Post of the Day♥️ . . 💥NEW YEARS WEIGHT-LOSS RESOLUTION💥 . . 40-45% of our daily lives can be chalked up to habit. That means that almost half of the things we do everyday are automatic. The trick to lasting change is to turn our new activities into one of these things we can do without even thinking about it. . . 3️⃣CHANGE THE HABIT LOOP‼️ . . Understanding the habit loop is crucial for making this change. Each of our habits involve a cue, habit & reward. When you are faced with a certain circumstance (cue), we fall back on our habits in order to achieve a certain outcome (reward). If we always react to the same cue with the same habit, nothing will change. . . So, examine ways to get the outcome we’re looking for: the reward… by changing the cue or habit. For example: . . Sally works 9 hour days. At the end of the day, she goes home starving & drained. She grabs a snack & a glass of wine & puts her feet up to watch TV. Feeling much more relaxed, she indulges in comfort food for dinner & goes to bed. . . Here, the cue is a long day at work & the physical/mental fatigue that goes along with it. The habit is the TV & self-soothing with food & drinks. The reward is relaxation & feeling removed from the concerns of work. . . She wants to lose weight. She knows she needs to eat differently & get more active. What could she do to change her cues & habits while still ending the day feeling relaxed? . . 💥CUE ➡️Change the work day. She could add some stress management practices (breath work or walk) to her breaks, to help alleviate the tension as it builds. 💥Habit ➡️Stop somewhere on the way home; like the gym to generate the feel-good endorphins & up her activity level. ➡️ Create a healthy “just got home” routine; such as carving out an at-home workout. This can enhance her sense of reward without food or alcohol. . . Your turn. Identify habits that you want to change & do a similar brainstorming session around your cues, responses & rewards. . . Everyone is different, so your lifestyle & goals may look different. Regardless, the habit loop is an inherent aspect of human psychology. The idea is not to overcome it, but to make it serve you. . .

Si esto es tan sencillo para que le das cargas que no pueden llevar. Los hijos no vienen para acompañarte, cuidarte o cumplir los sueños que no pudiste lograr. Recuerda, solo eres administrador, las decisiones finalmente las toma el dueño de la empresa. En este momento del año puede ser el mejor de renovar los acuerdos de la familia.   • ⬆️PT and Team Building with a Navy Seal🐸 • • I often ask candidates during interviews what they’ve done lately to develop themselves and improve their skill sets📝 • I find myself wondering what my answer to that same question would be🤔 • I do a lot of reading, I’ve gotten some certifications here and there...but there’s still so much room to grow📚 • Last weekend, I had the opportunity to attend the Conclave of Warriors in Miami, where I heard from Navy Seals, a former undercover federal agent, a fitness business leader, and others about their philosophies on personal discipline and leadership💪 • The common theme was to take control of yourself and your time, and to never stop improving yourself and those around you💯 • It was hard not to be slapped in the face with the fact that I, and most of us out there, could be doing so much more. • Manage your time, get uncomfortable, stop making excuses, and improve yourself and your life. Demand excellence from yourself and those in your teams.
