His Miracles Abound in our Midst
This weekend, as I was walking on the beach, God called me to share a part of my testimony that I have kept private for almost a year. He simply whispered to my soul, “It’s time, My Beloved.” Almost a year ago, God stilled my soul and gave me an urgency to pray for my youngest son. I was called to stay on my knees and pray in earnest supplication for him. I knew not what was going to happen, but I obediently remained in His stillness and prayed nonstop, for my eighteen year-old son, Austin.
I was awakened by a call, on the morning of January 21st, 2018. I was told that my son was taken by ambulance. He was barely breathing. I prayed all day, not knowing whether my son was dead or alive. I couldn’t locate him. He was four hours away from me.
In the late afternoon, I was contacted via phone, being advised that Austin was in I.C.U. I rushed to the hospital. I walked into the room and saw my precious son in a coma, on life support. I hugged him, as I told him that I loved him and so did God. His eyes fluttered open, as he looked deeply into my eyes. Then, fell back into a deep coma.
The nurse told me he was dead on arrival. There was a body bag next to my son. They were going to pronounce him dead. A blood relative arrived and did not let them pronounce him dead. The relative (who happens to be a First Responder and has saved many lives), started working on him. After some time, Austin started breathing.
No one knew if he’d have irreparable brain damage, but God did. That night, I stayed up, holding my son’s hand...declaring life over him, in Jesus’s holy name. I read scripture and prayed constantly over him. I knew God was creating a miracle in our midst. I believed it, declared it and kept the faith that my son would live and not have permanent brain damage. God specifically called me to pray Ezekiel 37, over him. I did so. The battle was fierce, but I fought on. I knew the victory was the Lord’s.
Austin was on life support for longer than expected, but his vitals were fine. His brain activity was normal. He fully recovered. Praise be to God!

Sunday dinner realities, complete with the dog trying to sneak some scraps🙄. 30-60 minutes cooking.
5-15 minutes eating, full of protest at what we are eating, eye rolling from the teen and everyone seeming to do everything but eat including bickering and fighting🤦🏼♀️. Then it is done. No beautiful place setting and food presentation here, just a bunch of mismatched dirty dishes.
An hour plus of clean up when my head and eyes are dreaming of a Sunday nap. And I usually do an easy meal on Sundays😲
And yet I do it week after week after week, because I want my kids to have these memories when they leave my home, and it's worth it for the 5 minutes talking about what everyone learned in church💖, my 10 year-old sitting down and finding the scripture she told me she was learning about❣️ and the chat with my 7 year-old as we cleaned up side by side♥️ even though she didn't want to be there. (Neither did I #dreamingofanap still.) But this is just what moms do. We give up what we want for what is best for our families. We make sacrifices, because we know in the end they are what will last and make a difference in the lives of our children--all those little trying and wonderful and ordinary moments. We put off our dreams big and small (like a nap--are you seeing a theme), in favor of the dreams we now have for our children.
That was a good pep talk! I needed that. Motherhood is awesome, but it's also hard... and tiring. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world although I wouldn't turn down a nap😉! #sacrifice#motherhood#worthit#motherslove#ineedanap#moms
What if our building caught on fire and I couldn’t get to our ergo fast enough before needing to escape down the fire escape? I keep a baby wrap under Mila’s crib in our room incase of a fire. I live in this constant cycle of “what if’s”. I know most of my fears are probably way less likely than winning the lottery but I still buy a lottery ticket when the pot is big. (Do you?!) ⠀
So I’ll keep the ergo under her crib, and I’ll check to make sure the doors are locked 10 times because that’s what I do. ⠀
But at the end of the day, I know my life is in the hands of God & my hope is in Jesus. I will say, “Jesus help me” in a crisis and then run around like a turkey with its head cut off. It’s just how it works for me. ( #realtalk) ⠀
What things do you do to make you feel secure Incase of an emergency? ⠀
My heart is just bursting right now at the ways God provides for every detail. For very special friendships, fun surprises, and sweet childhood memories. We navigated our way through downtown Chicago, froze our fannies off at the Festival of Lights Parade, the kids all got a little too sugared up, and security had to rescue a mermaid Barbie that got locked in a safe. It was such a fun adventure!💫
One of the dreams I had when I said yes to starting my Young Living business was to be able to take my girls on special dates. When I got home, I found out that I won a monetary gift from one of my business leaders that covered the exact cost of our overnight adventure! What an awesome and generous provision, and I am beyond grateful to see dreams coming to be. 💖
Oooop. 4am is waaaay too early, but I’m a 5am girl 😂🤦🏼♀️. I hate getting up early but love that it’s done!! What time do you all prefer to workout??
It does give me way more energy in my day, and it helps immensely with my mood!! It’s definitely hard to get out of bed, but once I’m up and drink my #momcrack and press play, it feels so good for the rest of the day!!
Where my early morning peeps at?? Give me a ☀️! Later in the day peeps, give me a 🙌🏻 below!!

These hats are an investment but I found it significantly discounted in a few retailers, tagged it here for you #firstname.lastname@example.org#MyHermesChronicles#HermesKellySellier#HermesBoots
BOOTS on the ground, we left the land of bikinis behind. The heavy fur is coming out early this year, it’s freezing over here ⛄️ .
I bought these Hermès ‘Story Boots’ back in June and it’s seems I’ll be LIVIN in them all season long.
I find them to be more comfortable and easier to ‘break-in’ than their lookalike Jumping Boots 👢 These are truly meant for stroller-pushing 🛒 , toddler chasing 👶🏻 and mustering mom patience for those pre-schooler ‘hostage-like’ negotiating 👉🏼👦🏻
