After this shot i understood , that i want to try photography of random people . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Exactly when they dont know , that you take a picture of them . ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I dont know why, but this picture has some feelings in it . I been walking down the Talisker Bay in Isle of Skye , when this man , together with women were moving some stuff from the beach to the farm (looks like it was a rubbish from the beach) .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you feel something?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Location - Talisker Bay, Isle of Skye, Scotland 🏴

//BACK TO BLACK (AND WHITE) - composition is one of my photography strengths. I'm pretty confident in my ability to compose a nice looking shot. The down-side is that I tend to lean on this skill more and avoid working on my areas of weakness.
I'm not very good at taking my time with a scene. I'm probably the least patient landscape photographer you know. I'm also not very good at being methodical (when doing photography). I shoot from instinct and I shoot quickly, probably only getting 5 or 6 different compositions of each subject, but in a couple of minutes. I need some advice ... How would YOU go about developing those skills? What could I try that would force me to slow down and think more deliberately about what I'm doing?
Haven't posted in a while so here you go. Hope you all have a great week!
Standing here on the High level bridge made me think of those horror movies where you’re running away from the monster along a never ending corridor and the lights are turning off as you run...😳🙈 ... anyhoo this is the High Level .. I need to return because the number of photographs you can take both on, and from this vantage point is unbelievable 🧡 photographing this amazing city really is the start of a love affair, and I willingly fall ...
It’s a pretty good view from The Mound, looking on to the Scottish National Gallery, with the Royal Scottish Academy to the rear. Both buildings were designed as separate structures by William Playfair in the nineteenth century, but they now work together as a gallery complex. Their current exhibitions are Toulouse-Lautrec and John Byrne if you fancy a squiz.
The Queens Hotel in the Saint Vincent Quarter has stood on Scotland Street since 1797 although it has been boarded up for more than 2 decades now. With the redevelopment of this area of the city centre you feel it’s days are numbered. Scotland Street is named, ironically, from the influx of Irish immigrants that flocked to the city in the 1840’s due to the potato famine that left a million dead on the Emerald Isle. Sheffielders of this period welcomed the Irish but, mistaking them as Scots, named the area after those north of the border. This street was once lined with pubs but is now half industrial, half derelict. Let’s hope the regeneration brings back the old times!
