Fortnum & Mason • One of my favourite stores in London and even more so at this time of year when it’s all festive and cheery. I’m in love with all their signature ornaments (never mind that our tree only reaches my shin..) @fortnums
This mornjng i got a reminder email that a new batch of tickets were going up for sale today... i was gutted because the price of ticketing ... even for disabled tickets.... were colossal. But on a ehim j thought i would give it a go and see if we could get tickets for me, mum and dad to go to see the show....
Turns out it was a LOT cheaper this tome round (we are talking £200 cheaper) and we managwd to get tickets for the friday 7th june show.... we are row w105 ... and absolutely over the moon.
So not only do we have the nightmare before christmas live orchestra show at wembley in december 2019... we also have hugh jackmans greatest show for june 2019.... and these are the first proper concerts we are going to as a family.. also the first proper concert in the O2 DOME.... legit happy and fudge right now.
Santa Claws is coming to town 🦐🎅🏻🎄
We really went to town last night @tamashiilondon with all the feasting we did! 🍴
Tamashii is a beautiful restaurant tucked away on a side street next to Kings Cross Station so you're less than 5mins away from grabbing some Asian soul food & tucking into some Eastern inspired cocktails 👅
My favourite dish that evening was the pan-fried aubergine Hot Pot which was stuffed w/ black bean minced prawns, completely blew our minds away 😌
Overall, great dishes. All the seafood dishes were very crispy (just how I like it!) Some other dishes definitely tastes different from what I expected (📸the peppered beef hot pot also had a sweet and sour taste to it which really confused me 😂)
The interior is gorgeous & it's designed for sitting down dinner or if you just want to grab some drinks and catch up 🍹
Look out for my story highlights for my breakdown on the dishes I've tried!
Thank you @tamashiilondon for inviting me down & the attentive manager that was recommending and serving us food! 🙏❤️

This low, bright light is how I really know that Christmas is coming! 🌥
My only hike this weekend was one up Steep Hill! (Which lives up to its name!) We had the most beautiful time at Lincoln Christmas Market on Saturday - the city itself is so unexpected, sitting proud on top of the only hill for miles; with the bustling crowds and winding cobbled streets, I felt like I had stepped straight into A Christmas Carol (but without the ghosts showing me the error of my ways... hopefully! 👻).
Even better, we spent time with two of my favourite people; @sarahfenn2 and @jp.fenn Even when the sun disappeared and it rained endlessly, my Christmas spirit remained! 🎅
🥰🥰 words cannot describe this foodgasm!

🍽 Discovery Menu with 7 courses
Amberjack slightly smoked then marinated, Tuscan pesto spheres and aubergines with thyme
Scorpion Fish; white turnip sautéed with peanuts and fish soup - it was first steamed then fried which means it was so tender inside but had a very crispy skin 😍
Spaghetti alla chitarra with seafood, bread crumbs and grey mullet botargo - one of 💙 and 2fattrolls’ mama’s favourite!!! There were more seafood than spaghetti! 😂
Pinto Bean Soup, ‘grano arso’ dumplings, tagliolini made of yolk, and snails with parsley
Venison saddle roasted with dried porcini mushrooms, toasted walnuts and laurel extract - If I had to pick a least favourite dish, it would be this because I’m not a huge fan of gamey meat personally and the venison was a bit dry for my liking
Mild Baby Pork of Mora Romagnola breed, salad of onions cooked under the ashes and apple with mustard
Pre-Dessert - loved how I could taste sweet, sour (Strawberry) and savoury (from mascarpone) at the same time!
Caramel cream, peach in sherbet and fresh, crispy hazelnuts and Tonka Beans Biscuits - Huge Fan of peaches 🍑 didn’t taste artificial at all and I loved the combination although it sounded weird to me initially 🤭 hope I’m not biased!!! 😂
A selection of chocolate 🍫 - not usually a huge fan of chocolate but I have to say their chocolate is 👌🏻👍🏻

🍽 Neapolitan Itinerary
Caprese - 🧡’s personal favourite!! Perfect when dipped with their warm sourdough 😍
Black Linguine Pasta - 💙’s personal favourite! Not too salty and heavy in seasoning unlike all the other squid ink pastas we’ve had in Italy!
Tortello Pasta - Beef Genovese Style
Lemon Risotto - substitution for guests who don’t eat beef!! Salt Cod - Dehydrated ‘Pizzaiola’ Sauce - slightly too acidic for me personally
Neapolitan Diplomatic - not a big fan of the flavouring
P.S. LOVED THE WARM SOURDOUGH SERVED so glad they offered to give us more 😍🙇🏻♀️
🍽 Calendar of Nature - 22nd Week (6 Moments)
🍴 #AtelierAmaro#2fattrollswarsawAmuse Bouche:
Blackcurrant in Blossom
Wild Strawberry/Goats Milk/Wood Sorrel
*my phone died here😭*
Wild Duck/Hay/Kohlrabi - personal favourite 💙
Atelier Amaro focuses on using ingredients from the nature for all their dishes which made it a different & refreshing dining experience!
Toroniku Kara Miso Ramen ($20.95) is the perfect fix for a cold windy day 😁 ample portions of tender pork jowl and a rich broth that warms your soul. Only downside is it’s a tad pricey and there’s always a long wait for a table, but the quality ingredients makes this one of my favourite ramen joints in Toronto 👌
Overall rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🍽 Having a newly opened restaurant at the ground floor of the building I work in, naturally I had to check it out. 🍸Vibes are good... candle lit, chilled, fun atmosphere. You have a more casual ground floor for drinks and coffee in the day. Dinner settings on the basement.
All dishes were flavoured well, with really beautiful ⭐️grilled Denver red beef being my favourite for the night!⭐️
Smoked lamb shoulder was my second favourite... being cosy and hearty with those coco beans!🧣
🐟Grilled plaice with curry butter was cooked well, with the fish soft and flaking off, and full of flavour!
And to finish off?... 🍩The doughnut, pear and chocolate wins the competition!
Overall, food was beautiful with a good balance of flavours. However, service was slow and uneven. They served the vegetarians mains first and took forever with the other dishes. My friends finished their veg dish before the last person even received their main. Not great when you’re trying to enjoy dinner with a group of 9 people.
